The Working Holiday Program (WHP) is a visa allowing young French people aged 18 to 35 to stay in Canada for a maximum duration of one year.

What is possible to do in Canada under the Working Holiday Visa?

During your stay, you can explore the different provinces of Canada, enter and exit the country, and work on-site.

What are the conditions to meet in order to go to Canada under the PVT?
  • Not having previously benefited from the WHP in Canada
  • Be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application.
  • Possessing an up-to-date French passport
  • Not being accompanied by dependent children
  • Either be able to buy a return ticket or hold one.
  • Have financial resources equivalent to at least €1,700 (CAD 2,500) at the beginning of the stay.
